Dr. Menon’s passion for cricket stems from his experience as a former Kerala state cricketer, where he competed alongside renowned players such as Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Sunil Joshi, and David Johnson. These formative experiences instilled the discipline, focus, and competitive mindset that continue to guide his leadership journey.
In recognition of his contribution to the sport, he was honoured with the Arjuna Award by the Hindustan Arts Society.

Beyond his personal involvement in cricket, Dr Menon has also contributed to the sports ecosystem through leadership roles in sports management. As CEO of Beyond Boundaries Sports Management Consultancy, he played a key role in the successful organisation of the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships held in Dubai in February 2023.
